Do you know a wonderful librarian; someone that really loves books and learning and wants to share that love with others? I do.

As a lover of books and a friend of libraries, I knew I wanted to read this book about a library as soon as I saw it.

It did not disappoint, but as beautiful as the story was, it was the author’s note on the last page that brought me to tears.

I am not going to give it away.

I will say, that this story will touch nature lovers, book lovers and those who have a heart for kids that struggle to learn, or learn differently.

The reader will find a powerful example of how we can lead a child, by taking the time to discover and appreciate that child’s gifts ( instead of finding weaknesses) and then build on those gifts and interests to dive deeply and joyfully into learning.

It challenged me to reflect on the gifts of my own children and to consider how I can patiently, joyfully and creatively help each of my children to connect in a meaningful way with something that is interesting to them, or builds on a strength they have in some area.
